     AN ACT Relating to waste reduction; and adding a new section to chapter 70.95C RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 70.95C RCW to read as follows:

     (1) No person may sell or use plastic eating utensils or styrofoam dishes or containers.

     (2) The department shall adopt rules to enforce this section.
