AN ACT Relating to curbside recycling; and adding a new section to chapter 81.77 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 81.77 RCW to read as follows:
An entity providing curbside recycling services within an area shall provide that each unit in a multiple unit dwelling has access to recycling containers for items such as glass, aluminum, and paper. Each unit in a multiple unit dwelling shall have individual access to recycling containers on a basis of at least one container for every eight units in a multiple unit dwelling.
