     AN ACT Relating to the application of the open public meetings act to the state transportation commission; and adding a new section to chapter 42.30 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 42.30 RCW to read as follows:

     Each subcommittee of the state transportation commission shall be deemed a "governing body" for purposes of the open public meetings act.
