     AN ACT Relating to dogs; and adding a new section to chapter 16.52 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 16.52 RCW to read as follows:

     No entity of state or local government may by ordinance or regulation prevent the owner of a dog from using an electronic locating collar to protect the dog from loss.
