     AN ACT Relating to commercial bottom trawling for food fish; and amending RCW 75.12.390.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

     Sec. 1.  RCW 75.12.390 and 1989 c 172 s 1 are each amended to read as follows:

     Commercial bottom trawling for food fish and shellfish is unlawful in all ((areas of Hood Canal south of a line projected from Tala Point to Foulweather Bluff and in Puget Sound south of a line projected from Foulweather Bluff to Double Bluff and including)) marine waters east of a line projected from Neah Bay north to the International Boundary, including all areas of the Straits of Juan de Fuca, Hood Canal, the Straits of Georgia, Admiralty Inlet, Puget Sound, all waters surrounding the San Juan Islands, and all marine waters east of Whidbey Island and Camano Island.
