     AN ACT Relating to forest practices; and adding a new section to chapter 76.01 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 76.01 RCW to read as follows:

     Only those department of natural resources rules that are in effect at the time a stand of timber is planted are applicable to the management and harvesting of the stand of timber.
