BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature finds that the formation and implementation of a state hydropower development plan as required under chapter 159, Laws of 1989, is a matter that significantly impacts the future of energy and environmental resources for the citizens of the state. The council may consider any information or data previously developed or obtained by the state energy office regarding such a plan.
NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. The sum of forty thousand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1993, from the general fund--state to the energy facilities site evaluation council for the purposes of section 2 of this act.
