HB 1021 - DIGEST

 

      Requires the provision of recycling receptacles in at least fifteen state park campgrounds and in fifteen day-use areas by July 1, 1993.

      Directs the parks and recreation commission to require park concessionaires to recycle aluminum, glass, and paper.

      Requires port districts to provide recycling receptacles in areas frequented by the public.

      Makes an appropriation of twenty-five thousand dollars to the parks and recreation commission to implement the provisions of the act.
