(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

      Provides for the nomination of a custodian to receive property which is transferred to a minor.

      Establishes conditions for transfers by gift, will, trust, or other transfer by fiduciary.

      Specifies the care which a custodian must take regarding transferred property.

      Provides for the custodian's expenses, compensation and bond requirements.

      Establishes procedures for designating successor custodians in cases of renunciation, resignation or death.

      Designates methods for accounting by a custodian and the determination of liability for improper actions.

      Repeals provisions of chapter 11.93 RCW.

      Repeals RCW 11.76.090.

      Takes effect July 1, 1991.
