      Requires a license to be an athlete agent.

      Provides the authority to regulate athlete agents to the director of licensing.

      Establishes the requirements to be granted a license.

      Requires an agent to maintain a surety bond of not less than twenty-five thousand dollars.

      Requires an athlete agent to file a disclosure statement and take an examination to receive a license.

      Requires copies of athlete contracts to be filed with the department.

      Provides for disciplinary actions against agents.

      Specifies civil and criminal penalties for violations of the act.

      Prohibits unlawful gifts and solicitations.

      Makes an appropriation of an unspecified amount to carry out the purposes of the act.
