HB 1194 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

      Provides that the owner of land located in a special district who is a qualified voter of the special district shall receive two votes at any election.

      Authorizes additional votes based on a formula for ownership of increments of ten acres.

      Provides that an election shall not be required if only one person files for the position.

      Revises the procedures for calling and conducting an election in special districts.

      Repeals RCW 85.24.210.
