      Provides that certificated instructional staff who complete internships with private and public sector organizations are eligible to receive continuing education credit.

      Specifies the types of credit to be awarded.

      Directs the superintendent of public instruction to conduct a symposium on school-business education partnerships.

      Makes an appropriation of thirty-five thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
