(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

      Provides that all custom computer software, except embedded software, all retained rights in computer software, all modifications to canned software, and all master or golden copies of computer software are exempt from property taxation.

      Lists computer software valuation formulas.

      Directs the department of revenue to conduct a study of the exemptions and rules provided for computer software.

      Directs county assessors to list and assess computer software in the same manner as in 1989.
