      Requires extension of the warranty period in certain specified situations.

      Requires notice to buyers of a product that they are entitled to a warranty extension under certain conditions.

      Provides that manufacturers must maintain sufficient service and repair facilities in the state.

      Authorizes manufacturers to contract with independent service centers to provide warranty service.

      Provides that disputes that cannot be resolved by the parties must be presented to the American Arbitration Association or a dispute resolution center for third party mediation.
