HB 1521 - DIGEST

      Provides that a school district with an approved program to improve student learning may participate in the student learning alternative program.

      Gives school districts five years to achieve measurable improvement in student learning.

      Directs the superintendent of public instruction to provide technical assistance to the school districts, and to develop methods of measuring achievements.
