(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

      Requires employers to furnish agricultural employees with protective clothing and devices required by a pesticide label or by department rule.

      Requires additional protective measures.

      Directs the employer to make prior arrangements for emergency medical care when using pesticides.

      Specifies the circumstances when an employer must monitor the exposure of the employees.

      Requires adoption of rules to implement the act by July 1, 1992.
