HB 1738 - DIGEST

      Requires electric, gas, and telephone corporations with gross annual revenues exceeding twenty-five million dollars to submit annually a plan for increasing women and minority business enterprise procurement.

      Requires annual reports to the legislature on the progress of the plan.

      Establishes civil and criminal penalties for falsely representing a business as women or minority owned.
