      Requires a sediment transport study of the Nooksack river in order to determine the amount of material that would have to be removed from the river to minimize the potential for flooding.

      Makes an appropriation of fifty thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.

      Repeals RCW 79.90.140.
