HB 1879 - DIGEST

      Provides resources to school districts that will be used to provide family resource management services to children and their families.

      Provides for phasing in the services over four school years beginning in 1991.

      Creates a family support block grant program to provide funds for specified purposes.

      Establishes a state coordinating committee.

      Makes an appropriation of seven million four hundred ninety-seven thousand nine hundred sixty-six dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
