HB 1900-S - DIGEST

      Prohibits the storage of a firearm where an unsupervised child is likely to gain access to it.

      Provides a penalty of not more than five thousand dollars or imprisonment for not more than one year.

      Requires firearms dealers to post a notice warning that it is unlawful to leave a firearm where children can obtain access and to offer a trigger lock with each sale.

      Provides a penalty of five hundred dollars for dealers who violate the requirements.
