(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

      Provides that the failure to renew a license or registration on or before the date due means a renewal may only be made upon payment of the fee and a penalty equal to the original licensure fee.

      Authorizes the board to enforce the payment of a fine through a court proceeding.

      Requires a study of the integration of the uniform disciplinary act with the pharmacy practice act.
