HB 2060 - DIGEST

      Requires utilities to submit a plan to complete weatherization of one-half of the homes of their low-income customers by the year 2001.

      Directs the development and implementation of an education program for low-income persons covering efficient energy use and wise financial management.

      Requires electric and gas companies to file energy conservation tariffs.

      Makes an appropriation of one million six hundred thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
