HB 2143 - DIGEST
Directs the administrator for the courts to adopt rules for determining total disposable income as used in the child support schedule.
Authorizes deviation from the support schedule upon findings of the court.
Prohibits awards of postsecondary educational support.
Requires support awards to determine the amount for each child separately.
Declares that maintenance shall cease upon the death, cohabitation, or remarriage of the person receiving maintenance.
Prohibits awards of more than fifty percent of a noncustodial parent's net income.
Establishes a state child support schedule.
Repeals RCW 26.19.020, 26.19.060, 26.19.090, and 26.19.100.
