HB 2176 - DIGEST

      Establishes required procedures for the testing of school bus drivers.

      Requires a written policy regarding testing and testing procedures to be distributed to every employee and every prospective employee.

      Designates specific procedures for random testing.

      Makes intentional contamination of drug samples a misdemeanor offense.

      Designates the appropriate disciplinary or rehabilitative actions for positive drug or alcohol test results.

      Provides that a cause of action shall not arise if the procedures of the act are followed.
