HB 2198 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

      Directs the joint center to develop a master plan for the Spokane higher education park.

      Increases the membership of the governing board of the joint center.

      Provides that the governor shall appoint nine members of the board to be approved by the Senate.

      Authorizes Washington State University to represent state interests in acquiring additional property at the site known as the Riverpoint higher education park until the first meeting of the joint center board.

      Repeals RCW 28B.25.060.

      Takes effect July 1, 1991.
