HB 2373-S - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

      Provides that a conviction for assault in the third degree, indecent liberties, malicious mischief in the first degree, possession of stolen property in the first or second degree, or theft in the first or second degree shall disqualify an individual from issuance of a license to carry a concealed weapon.

      Provides that a person who has been committed for treatment of mental illness may not posses a firearm.

      Authorizes restoration of rights under specified circumstances.
