(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

      Revises provisions imposing a real estate conveyance tax.

      Designates certain conveyances which are exempt from the tax imposed by chapter 82.45 RCW.

      Provides that local real estate excise taxes will continue under the revisions.

      Repeals RCW 82.45.035, 82.45.105, and 82.45.120.

      Takes effect June 1, 1992.
