HB 2517 - DIGEST

      Requires teachers, administrators, the educational staff associate preparation program, and the educational paraprofessional training programs to submit a summary of the actions taken to ensure students will have the knowledge and skills necessary to teach and work with students of diverse cultures, languages, and gender.

      Provides for the establishment of student diversity training programs.

      Makes an appropriation of two million dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
