      Provides for an independent study of the comparative effectiveness, cost, and utilization of care of low back problems by chiropractors, orthopedists, family practitioners, and physical therapists in the workers' compensation program of the department of labor and industries.

      Makes an appropriation of two hundred fifty thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
