      Revises the department's financial responsibilities for funeral expenses as specified in RCW 68.50.160 and 74.08.120.

      Authorizes the department to assume responsibility for payment for the transportation of deceased persons, in addition to funeral costs and disposition costs, after determination of the assets of the deceased's relatives.
