HB 2909 - DIGEST

      Provides for a petition to the superior or district court for the involuntary insertion of birth control known as Norplant into a woman who has given birth to a baby with fetal alcohol syndrome or addicted to drugs.

      Establishes hearing procedures.

      Provides for removal of the implant six months after the court finds the woman to be alcohol and drug free.
