HB 2962 - DIGEST

      Encourages the availability of a fair share of affordable housing, including affordable housing for people with special needs, in comprehensive plans.

      Directs the department to establish the process for determining a fair share housing responsibility and requires each city and county to submit an annual report on the progress being made to meet the responsibility.

      Requires the funding of replacement housing whenever affordable housing is demolished.

      Establishes a process to collect housing replacement fees.
