HB 2997 - DIGEST

      Revises provisions relating to court fees for legal services and law libraries.

      Requires any moneys appropriated from the public safety and education account for civil representation of indigent persons to be used to contract with qualified legal aid programs.

      Revises provisions for the boards of law library trustees.

      Repeals RCW 27.24.050, 27.24.060, 27.24.063, 27.24.064, and 27.24.065.

      Provides that the act shall be null and void if appropriations are not approved.
