SB 5096 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 2ND SUB)

      Directs the department of agriculture to seek to enhance, protect, and perpetuate the ability of the private sector to produce food and fiber.

      Requires a review of existing rules, directives, and enforcement practices that adversely impact agriculture.

      Requires the department to submit annual reports to the legislature detailing the department's activities in carrying out the purposes of the act.
