SB 5114 - DIGEST

      Requires, effective September 1, 1992, that every school bus be equipped with a crossing arm that will require students crossing in front of the bus to walk more than five feet from the front of the bus.

      Provides for a pilot program to test the feasibility of using video cameras inside of school buses to reduce discipline problems.

      Requires review of the current use of aides on special education buses.

      Makes an appropriation of seven hundred forty-five thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
