SB 5239 - DIGEST

      Revises the equivalent of a school day for each level of the common schools.

      Requires the basic education certificated instructional staff to be provided with the equivalent of two additional days each contract year for in-service training.

      Makes an appropriation of thirty-eight million dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
