SB 5272 - DIGEST

      Authorizes a person to receive assistance for all or a portion of the amount of excess and regular real property taxes in accordance with a specified formula.

      Provides that a person signing a false claim with the intent to defraud is guilty of the offense of perjury.

      Makes an appropriation of fourteen million dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
