SB 5279 - DIGEST

      Encourages the enhancement of student education.

      Establishes the commission for the assessment of student learning to establish the performance standards of achievement expected of all students and to establish a state examination system to assess student mastery of the performance standards.

      Repeals provisions of chapter 28A.230 RCW.
