      Requires dislocated timber workers to receive enhanced retraining, support services, and job search assistance.

      Provides tuition waivers to dislocated timber workers.

      Provides that the act shall be null and void if appropriations are not approved.

      Provides for an emergency mortgage assistance project.

      Provides an additional benefit period for identified counties.

      Establishes the natural resource worker project.

      Provides for a basic health plan for dislocated forest products workers and their families.

      Directs the Evergreen State College to design an evaluation mechanism for the effectiveness of the program.
