(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Provides that the department may require each pulp mill and paper mill discharging chlorinated organics to conduct an engineering report on the cost of installing technology designed to reduce discharge of the compounds into the waters of the State.

     Allows twenty-four months for submission of a report.

     Does not apply to dioxin compounds.
