SB 5971 - DIGEST

      Abolishes the departments of wildlife and fisheries and transfers the powers, duties, and functions to the department of natural resources.

      Provides that the members of the state parks and recreation commission, the public members of the interagency committee for outdoor recreation, the director of the interagency committee, and the members of the state wildlife commission shall be appointed by the commissioner of public lands.
