SB 5983 - DIGEST

      Reduces the size of metropolitan councils and restructures the composition of the councils.

      Retains existing compositions until January 1, 1992.

      Provides for the compensation of council members.

      Repeals RCW 35.58.120, 35.58.160, and 35.58.270.
