SB 6007 - DIGEST

      Requires medical practitioners who provide care to any sex offense victim to adhere to the evidence collection procedures established by the act.

      Directs the department to provide written notice of the procedures to medical practitioners, and state the requirement for attendance at a training workshop.

      Establishes an evidence collection and preservation commission.

      Provides civil penalties for violations of the act.
