SB 6165 - DIGEST

      Directs the governor to form a public nonprofit corporation to enter into a limited partnership for the acquisition of a professional sports franchise in King county.

      Authorizes the state finance committee to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of one hundred million dollars to acquire the franchise.

      Imposes a special excise tax on the furnishing of lodging in King county to pay off the bonds.
