SB 6202 - DIGEST

      Requires the development of a rating system to evaluate the levels of wildfire risk to areas located in the wildland/urban interface or intermix.

      Directs the building code council to consider fire protection standards for high or extreme hazard risk level areas.

      Requires the maintenance of a safe clearance between electrical transmission lines and vegetation.

      Prohibits approval of final plats for housing development until fire prevention and protection plans are incorporated.
