SB 6238 - DIGEST

      Requires designated state agencies to execute an interagency agreement to ensure the coordination of their local program efforts regarding children.

      Provides for six regional interagency councils for children, youth, and families.

      Establishes procedures for grants to assist the councils.

      Requires the office of financial management to review the administration of funds by January 1, 1996.

      Creates the state center for children, youth, and families to serve as the clearinghouse for information concerning innovations in care procedures.
