SB 6296 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

      Prescribes that all medical records maintained by a local health department for purposes of an infant mortality review are confidential insofar as the identity of an individual infant and his or her parents is concerned.

      Does not prevent a local health department from publishing statistical compilations and reports.

      Does not prohibit any person from reporting suspected child abuse or giving testimony in civil or criminal actions.
