SB 6324 - DIGEST

      Requires the director to develop a program for the purchase and permanent retirement of Columbia river/Willapa Bay and Columbia river/Grays Harbor commercial salmon fishing licenses.

      Requires three phases for the buy-out plan.

      Provides that the act shall not change the salmon catch division between non-Indian commercial and recreational fisheries.

      Takes effect January 1, 1993.
