SB 6438 - DIGEST

      Requires the state to annually provide a scholarship to every resident school-age child, beginning with the 1993-94 school year.

      Designates a formula for calculating the amount of the scholarships.

      Establishes the requirements for a public and private school to become a scholarship-redeeming school and to retain that status.

      Provides for penalties for violations of the act.
