     On page 1, line 10, after "39.12 RCW' insert "This chapter and chapter 39.12 RCW shall not apply to counties with a population of less than seventy thousand."

EFFECT:  This amendment would limit the application of the prevailing wage law to the following twelve counties; Benton, Clark, Cowlitz, King, Kitsap, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Spokane, Thurston, Whatcom, and Yakima.
